Design & Innovation Engineer DTU · 2026
I'm Rune, a newly graduated Design and Innovation Engineer from DTU, with an earlier background in fashion design.
At DTU, I explored Mixed Reality, product development, programming, CAD modeling and healthcare innovation through user-centered projects.
Fashion taught me visual thinking and taking ideas from concept to finished result. I bring curiosity, experimentation and a willingness to learn and collaborate to practical engineering challenges.
I'm looking for my first professional engineering role.

View project03 / The person behind the work
I like figuring things out — and making something people can use.
I started in fashion design, learning to think visually, experiment with materials and bring an idea into the real world. At DTU, I brought that curiosity into engineering, product development and innovation.
Today, my work moves between user-centered design, mixed reality, 3D visualization and hands-on prototyping. I enjoy learning unfamiliar tools and collaborating with people who approach a problem from a different angle.

Away from the screen
A good game. I regularly play Magic: The Gathering at my local game store.
A change of pace. Road cycling and mountain biking get me outdoors.
A team effort. I’m part of the Danish Baseball5 national team’s wider training squad, with the hope of competing at the European Championship in 2027.
04 / Let’s connect
I’m looking for my first engineering role, with opportunities across product development, innovation, UX and creative technology.
